EuroCIS is Europe's leading trade show for IT and security technology for the retail sector. Every year, in February, some 200 exhibitors show their solutions for checkout systems, merchandise management, article surveillance, POS technologies and more in Düsseldorf. Every three years, EuroCIS is integrated into EuroShop.

EHI is initiator of EuroCIS and partner to Messe Duesseldorf in organising this show. 16 exhibitors from 16 countries showcased their latest products, solutions and trends for the retail industry at EuroCIS 2007. Some 5,200 international trade visitors from all retail sectors travelled to the Rhine to investigate the range of offerings. The international profile of the visitors was further enhanced as compared with last year's event - a third of trade visitors (one in four in 2006) arrived from outside Germany's borders.

In 2008, EuroCIS has been part of EuroShop, the worlds biggest fair for capital goods in retail. The next staging of EuroCIS will open its doors from February 10 to 12 2009 in Dusseldorf.
