Login assistance
How can we help? These are the most common problems that may occur when you log into the download section:
- I have checked my login data several times, still the login doesn’t work.
Check whether you have used your specific working group login data or the general EHI login data. You must use the individual access codes for each separate working group. Also, pay attention to lower and upper case, possibly the shift lock (capitalisation) is activated on your keyboard. - Why does nothing happen, although I have logged in correctly?
Often one doesn’t notice that the login has been successful. Logging in doesn’t open another page, but the download files, which before you only saw as a listing, have become active links after login (red underlined script). That means that you can now click on them and download them. - How can I see that the login has worked?
The login doesn’t open a new page. but the download files, which before you only saw as a listing, have become active links after login (red underlined script). That means that you can now click on them and download them. - After signing on I can click on the documents, but they don’t open in Acrobat Reader.
You can easily get around that error, which is caused by your browser: just click in the open dialogue on “save” instead of “open”. You can then open the document without any problem from your hard disk. - After signing on I can click on the documents, but they don’t open at all.
Probably one or even several pop-up blockers are active. They prevent you from opening the documents in a new window. The pop-up blockers are turned on and off in Internet Explorer under Extras/Pop-up blockers. Each additional “menu bar” (Google, Yahoo etc) has its own blockers, which may also be active.
